Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor. Her birth date was June 13, 1962. After her first movie Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack participant in WarGames '83 and The Breakfast Club '85 she was well-known as a part of this group. For her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Leading Actress. Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for over twenty years. Her film career began beginning in the early 1980s, with the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she earned a lot of reviews. The film was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck also appeared. After her debut film, she appeared in 1985's comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes's film The Breakfast Club has been hailed as among high school cinema's best films. It was produced for only $1,000,000 but it grossed more than $50 million. While she was doing this, her debut on television took place on CBS Schoolbreak. Since April, 1980, the show was an adolescent-oriented show. Other shows on TV she was in are Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Her most recent appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse an action film featuring a superhero in which she plays a cameo. Sheedy has been praised for her outstanding performances. has received numerous awards, one of which was the MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in the year 2005.
