Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is a well-known American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002 and has aired 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began her writing career by with nuclear energy policy and budgets for the White House. While she found it interesting initially, she eventually dropped interest and purchased a small speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. After 18 years of making her shop a massive success she sold it, and then began writing her first book. A number of other cookbooks and magazine columns came later. Another success was the Food Network Television show. She also sells a range of items ranging from cooking materials to storage and equipment. Ina she has not attended any cookery schools or worked in a restaurant and she is completely self-taught. She is known for her easy approach to cooking and effortless entertaining. Some of her most popular recipes are Skillet roasted lemon chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & cheese Beef Bourguignon. Balsamic roasted Brussels Sprouts, Lemon Bars and Mac & cheese.
