Annie Mist Thorisdottir works as an elite CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie became the very first woman ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. In 2010, she placed in second place. In 2012, Annie also won in the CrossFit Games because of her outstanding performance. In addition, she became the first female athlete to have had two wins at CrossFit Games consecutively. Also, she received a trophy of silver in 2014 as well as a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. Annie's rise in popularity as an athlete has led her to become the spokesperson for many sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance's Periodization and Nuunhydration Yerbae. A few thousand people subscribe to her own Youtube channel where she posts videos for training, family and other videos and travel-related vlogs.
