Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally known as Andra day, is an American R&B musician and singer. In addition to a Grammy Award and Golden Globe Award she is also nominated for the winner of an Academy Award. Andra is not only a throwback R&B artist, but also a gospel singer. Her jazz roots and blues is presented in a manner which is effortless as well as stylish. Andra Day's debut Cheers to the Fall (2015) topped the R&B/hiphop charts, and her contributions towards Marshall (2017) earned her a Grammy Award and Academy Award. Amen (2019) as well as Make Your Troubles Gone Away (2021) and a Golden Globe award-winning portrayal as Billie Holiday for The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2017) has helped to build anticipation. Andra was born Cassandra Monique Batie of Edmonds Washington became the resident of San Diego and metropolitan San Diego where she attended school and sang at her church. DJs played it immediately on radio. She subsequently was signed to Warner Bros. Records and started working with producer Adrian Gurvitz on her debut album, Cheers to the Fall (2015). The song "Rise Up" became a global anthem in social justice movements. Day was awarded two Grammy nominations for the category of Best R&B Album for her album. In 2019 she released her second album The United States vs. Billie Holiday a concept album on the life of the legendary jazz singer. That same year she starred in a biopic on Holiday's life The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021). Andi Matichak is an American actor. Her first appearance was on TV shows such as Orange Is the New Black or Blue Bloods and then made her debut in horror movies Halloween and sequels. Andi Matichak, an American actress, was born in Framingham, Massachusetts on 3 May 1994.
